Swatantryveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar- An intrepid armed revolutionary of the freedom struggle, a social reformer, a great poet, an outstanding litterateur, a dramatist par excellence, a ceaseless crusader of Hindutva – truly a galaxy of virtues blended in a lovely rainbow.

Swatantryveer Savarkar, a prime name amongst the sculptors of modern India, should be a beacon of hope, guidance, inspiration and courage for the next generations.

 Swatantryveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak is a national memorial of one of India’s great freedom fighters, Swarantryveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. As an organisation dedicated to his life, thinking and philosophy, we are trying, to the best of our capacity, to do our bit in this monumental task of nation building.

We have undertaken several activities in the fields of social, cultural, educational, sports and health, such as Dance, Drama, Music, Drawing, Air rifle shooting, Yoga, Boxing, Karate, Gymnasium, Archery, training for competitive exams like MPSC, CDS, IIT-JEE, NDA, Mountaineering etc with the prime objective of youth empowerment.

 For the last 30 years, the Smarak felicitates the Brave Soldiers from the Indian Defence services with *"Shaurya Puraskar"*. on the birth anniversary of Swatantryaveer Savarakar i.e. on 28th May every year. 

This year, in addition to this, we plan to provide financial aid to the surviving family members of the martyrs, from the funds collected through the Swatantryaveer Daud.

 Swatantryaveer Daud 2019, is an initiative taken by our organisation.  

A marathon race of 5 Km and 10 Km is organised on the occasion of birth anniversary of Swatantryveer Savarkar on Sunday, 26th May, 2019 at 6 AM starting at Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak, Dadar, Mumbai. We are expecting around 5000 participation it is open to individuals of all age groups (16 Years to 80 years and above). Several eminent personalities will grace the occasion by their presence.
